We’ve completed the Self-discovery Workshop now its time to work on Self-recovery! Based on the self-help book, Sisters of the Yam written by Bell Hooks, we are going to focus recovering from our now identified traumas by providing a safe, affirming, sacred space where WOC (women of color) can receive medicine from other WOC. Over the next four months we will be hosting zoom calls monthly as well as field trips! Join me via Zoom on the 27th as we discuss some need to know information moving forward, receive the schedule of future meetings and trips, learn how to order the book through The Wild Fig, as well as a quick tutorial on how to use Zoom for online meetings.
